Towards a great Nigeria.

How do we make a better Nigeria out of this peculiar mess? How do we redefined Nigeria? What is my own contribution to the problems, and how do I plan to effect positive change? Let us borrow a leaf of wisdom from the profile of Captain Trafalgar.Trafalgar Square in London was named after him. He was one of the distinguished British war veteran. He led his command to capture a troublesome island acting as a smart ballistic to the British Empire then . The morale of his troop was low because they thought it was an avoidable war. The Captain actually had the mindset that the battle must be fought and won. On sailing to the island, he commanded one of his ratings in his troop to wet the ship that conveyed them to the warfront with petrol. The last order of a superior must be obeyed in the Armed forces. The soldier said,"Yes ooo!". He asked another one to fire a bullet into the ship so that it could catch fire, and burn down. He soliloquized. Why? He thought that his master was sick upstairs." Which ship would carry us home? He soliloquized, How do we escape? Captain Trafalgar became mad. He had never seen a subordinate disobeyed him."How could you be thinking of escape when the war has not been won?" He fired a shot into the head of the recalcitrant soldier. The infidel collapsed, and died. He fired another shot into the ship already soaked with petrol, and it caught fire. He warned," We have not come here to prepare for home, but to prepare a home."We have come to this harbour to rise and sink together. Yes! England, with all your woes, I love thee still."

Nigerians,it is high time we saw from Captain Trafalgar's perspective. The development and progress of a nation are framed into a ball of risk. It is when we take a bold step, and give a kick that we will find ourselves swimming in the pool of development. We can make this nation great again in our action and deed. One nation bound in freedom, peace, and unity.
